Gypsy Chicks Challenge

Yesterday a few of the Gypsy Chicks got together to scrap the day away! Brigit played with ink, Steph made cards, Joyce worked on a mini book and I stamped and coloured my version of this year's Christmas card.

Brigit brought us copies of Scrapbook and Cards Today and in there we found a "one challenge". Use one piece of cardstock, one piece of patterned paper, one brad, one tag, one label, one word title, one rub on, one picture, one stamp, one button, one 3-D embellishment. I cheated a little and used two extra brads because my label looked naked without them. I'm giving myself a pass though because I am just about 100% certain that I am the first one to finish the challenge!

Here's the first page of what will be my Santa Claus Parade (2004) album:

Yes, the stamped tree is a little crooked, but I'm letting go of my perfectionism and just going with it!!!

What do you think???

Awesome, I like the stamped tree, it has character! Nice to see you journaled handwritten too! Is that the Toronto parade? Steph

Sounds like it was a fun day. Is the Gypsy Chicks a web site?

Thanks Barb! It was a blast and the weather was perfect that day...back in 2004 - LOL!

No, the Gypsy Chicks is a few of us that get together. Used to crop at Cherished, but since we are "homeless", we call ourselves Gypsies.

Love ya.

Ummm, yes ma'am! REAL paper! It hardly counts as depleting the stash if you are using reusable digi materials, now does it?

It's small stash though, because the page is only 8 1/2 X 8 1/2.
